Harry E. Gill, 94, of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Crawfordsville, died Sunday. Born April 2, 1882, at Crawfordsville, he was the son of Oliver H. and Mary Myers Gill. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School and was in Company M of the Indiana Infantry, under Captain Neff, during the Spanish American War. During World War I, he was a member of the Federal Secret Service in the American Protective league, now known as the F.B.I. Mr. Gill was a member of the Masonic lodge at Crawfordsville, both the Chapter and the Commandry. He retained continuous membership. He was past commander of the oldest commandry in Buffalo and was appointed grant representative of Grand Commandry of the State of New York and of the State of Indiana. He had been a Rotarian for more than 50 years. Mr. Gill was married to Marjorie Calvin of Crawfordsville who preceded him in death. Services were in Hunt & Son Funeral Home Wednesday with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.--waw
